Old Sins, Long Shadows was a seductively brilliant story that took me on a ride through every emotion I possessed and left me with a complete inability to put it down. Conrad and Damian ran my heart through the wringer and had me desperate for a resolution between them. Their lack of communication and constant misunderstandings had me practically screaming at them to open their eyes and see what was so obvious to me, the reader. The pages were literally supercharged with the emotional intensity between them and their dark edged passion had me craving a happy ending like I crave chocolate."

"I love Ms. Forte’s use of flashbacks to show how Conrad and Damian first met, and at different points throughout their long lives together. This is a dark and emotional story, and I admit to shedding more than a few tears in some places. But the characters are compelling, and once I started, I couldn’t put it down....

I do recommend that you read the first book in this series, In the Dark, to better understand the story dynamics here. But this one gave me laughter, tears and a sense of romance that is worth the time spent. But keep the tissues handy, and turn up the fan. "

"OLD SINS, LONG SHADOWS is the second novel in PG Forte's captivating CHILDREN OF NIGHT series. While this novel can be enjoyed on its own I recommend reading the first novel in the series IN THE DARK, before reading this novel for maximum enjoyment. I enjoyed the fist novel in the series and I looked forward to reading this one. I was glad to be able to spend more time with these characters. The plot is captivating and the author does an excellent job of giving each of the main characters equal attention."

Old Sins, Long Shadows Book 2 in the Children of Night series by P.G.Forte is a amazing follow up to book one In The Dark, telling the story of how Conrad Quintano a centuries old vampire comes to find and lose the love of his life, Damian. Again P.G. Forte is flawless with taking you from present day San Francisco to late fifteenth century Sevilla to the mid 1800’s New York City.

P.G. Forte leaves you wanting to know more about the characters she has created in the Children of Night series, giving you just enough of a taste of their lives that leaves you hanging on till the next book.
